IGOROT  This application is excellent. But I wish the developer could do something about the continued memory leaks. Also, if it could offer better tagging support (perhaps a tag browser module) it would be perfect.

ANON BUD  An update from an earlier comment:

Just love this app. Much more robust than Finder. CPU problems of earlier versions have been resolved. My only problem is that I cannot get Finder not to re-open when some other apps ask for it, i.e Backup.

BIGDAVE56  Love the concept and use it a lot, but honestly, it ends up beachballing and needing to be forced quit almost every time I use it in dual-pane mode to drag n drop. Anybody else seeing this?

STEPHGAUTHIER  I really like this application. I only wish I could force all my applications to use the Path Finder. Though I have changed the preference settings in Path Finder, there are still some applications that insist on opening Finder. Apple could take some cues from the Developers for Path Finder.

CARLOSALBERT0  I am having serious trouble with the keyboard navigation. Sometimes, when in Column View, hitting a series of keys just moves the selection to a folder/file starting by those letters. Some other times it jumps to the next column and selects something there. Please tell me if I am doing something wrong. Things kinda improved when I disabled the "Smart Sorting" option, but still don't get this fast Finder way to get to where you want.

GLENN C MONTALBANO  Could not live without this program. When I go on a Mac without this it is like a major function is missing. It just makes using so much easier and better.

MACLOVER1.1  Not sure what's with people making so many negative comments around here lately.. if PathFinder is too sophisticated for you.. just don't use it I guess.. it is sort of like cars.. if you can't handle a Ferrari.. then go back to your Pinto.. and if the Pinto is too complex.. get a bicycle.. lol For me PF is a savior and I use it in conjunction with DefaultFolder and am quite happy with this combo.. it does all the things the Apple Finder should do... and makes working on my Mac much much smoother..

MITCH_DE  Info: changes since 5.6.1 :

Path Finder 5.6.3

Fixed bug in the Contextual menu introduced in 5.6.2.

Path Finder 5.6.2

Fixed bug in the Open command introduced in 5.6.1.

I find its no problem to release fast updates ! Better fast than letting users wait (often happens!).

Thanks
