PhoneDisk allows you to mount your iPhone or iPod Touch as a real Mac OS X disk.
If you like iPhone Explorer, you'll love phone disk. This software seamlessly mounts your iPhone or iPod Touch as a real disk on your Mac OSX filesystem. We'll be making the website this weekend, but you can download the binary right now!
Please Note the following points
There are two files in the download .zip file. Install MacFuse before you run Phone Disk.
We are giving away a free registration code that will be valid forever and even includes free upgrades. The only catch is that you must register the program within the next 6 months (before September 1, 2010). The registration code is as follows: 2H96A-QK7MX-8GEYK1V-ZR6S8
BRUSETH Great app. Works just fine. And it's for free ('till December)? That's terrific! I don't know how it could get any better. I very much appreciate the time and effort the developer has put into this app. Keep up the good work! Thanks so very much. (Version 1.300)

IVANOVITCH The 'Check For Updates' function doesn't work.
The 'Help' page is non-existent (online). Could do with some tidy-up of the various splash screens (and reduce them to two, or one!).
Typos in app need fixing, too - the Welcome Screen has 'Reval in Finder'. The 'About Phone Disk' screen says that my copy is 'registed'.
CERNIUK Gotta love MacFuse. This is a MacFuse plugin that adapts the iPhone / iPod Touch as an external storage device using the MacFuse architecture.
The only real downside to MacFuse is that the developer group is not very active. The preferences panel and presumably the code is not 64 bit. Glad to be wrong... (Version 1.003)
MIKAELF There is a 64bit build here, http://caurea.org/2009/09/15/unofficial-macfuse-release-for-64bit-kernels/
I've used it for months. Works great, seems rock solid to me. (Version 1.200)

BRUSETH Very nice app. And for free (till September)? That’s Great! One thing though. The ‘Applications’ folder, the ‘User’ folder, and other folders show up as UNIX executable •files• rather than folders. You can’t explore, or look through these files of course, and you should be able to. Am I doing something wrong? Oh well, still a very nice app. Thanks very much. (Version 1.003)
AXOLOTL5 Nothing to say about this app- just that there is no reason, except for Apple's user-hostile arrogance, why what it does is not already a built-in feature of the iPhone and the MacOS.
At the premium prices Apple charges for their hardware, they shouldn't be loading it with software that locks users out of half of that hardware's potential capabilites. (Version 1.003)

We will change this to shareware after September 1. For now it's free. (Version 1.003)

DOUG OK. I got confused by the popup. I see how it works now. (Version 1.003)
