DESCRIPTION
Tablatures is a guitar/bass tablature editor.

Tablatures is compatible with PowerTab, which is a well-known and widely adopted tablature editor for Windows systems. Thus you can share your music even with those members of your band that don't own a Mac! Moreover, you can easily find thousands of song transcriptions in this format on the net. Tablatures can also import most GuitarPro 3-5 tabs.

With Tablatures you can also export your tabs in MIDI format, or follow the playback on screen to help your learning process.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.29:
  • The Chord Dictionary panel can be resized.
  • It's possible to click on the zoom value to edit it, for those who don't always like to use the slider.
  • When editing a bend, "Release (gradual)" couldn't be set correctly. It has been fixed.
  • A keyboard shortcut to toggle chord names has been added: c.

ACWOLF  Don't pay $60 for stuff like this. Though Guitar Pro is better in many ways for the same $60, everyone should try Tux Guitar first. Tux Guitar is a free, open-source program that also opens Guitar Pro, Power Tab, and TablEdit files and is very fully capable with all sorts of features. I don't know why it isn't listed in MacUpdate.

Tux Guitar is excellent though not perfect. But it is FREE and great.

CCEILING_FAN  It seems good! I've been waiting for a tab editor forever. I've used GuitarTab X (abandonware) which wasn't that great but it got the job done. I'll use this for a while and probably buy it. I can't stand Guitar Pro because it is one of the most bloated programs of all time. Thank for this!
