SCPlugin is a contextual menu plugin that allows access to Subversion commands from the Finder.
Version 0.7.2 makes major improvements in user name / password handling, appearance, and personalization, and now supports your choice of Subversion 1.4.6 or 1.5.0. I encourage all users to upgrade.
Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and a Subversion server

THAJEZTAH I'm having problems with this plugin under Leopard 10.5.2. The first time I open the contextual menu, it works fine, however, the -second- time I open the menu, the finder Crashes. Here are the errors from the Console: 07-03-08 16:32:33 SCPluginUIDaemon[2368] Got 1 versioned, 0 unversioned, 1 versioned dirs 07-03-08 16:32:35 ReportCrash[3085] Formulating crash report for process Finder[3008] 07-03-08 16:32:36 com.apple.launchd[77] ([0x0-0x10e10e].com.apple.finder[3008]) Exited abnormally: Segmentation fault 07-03-08 16:32:36 ReportCrash[3085] Saved crashreport to /Users/administrator/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Finder_2008-03-07-163233_iMac.crash using uid: 502 gid: 502, euid: 502 egid: 502 (Version 0.7.1)

MACUPDATE ADMIN This should be sent directly to the developer via the developer's website. Some/many/most developers never check the posts here. (Version 0.7.1)

SOFLUTE this is genius - it just works perfekt it adds it little icons so even in applications that understand a shit about svn you'll at least see what's going on. which files are checked in which not, which are altered etc. I just love it. (Version 0.7.1)

SUNDEV LOHR The main problem I had with this program is that when svnning to a secure shell, it would deny me authorization without allowing me to enter in my username and password. I ended up having to do the first checkout and commit with terminal so that my username and password would be saved to the keychain, but after this, the plugin worked. (Version 0.7)

GRANTNEUFELD Note that this has been updated to version 0.7.1 (on December 20, 2007). The Macupdate download link isn’t working (as of this writing), so go to the More Information link to find the download. (Version 0.7)

THEODORE LEE I had been using the 0.6 release, but removed due to some issues. In my short time with 0.7, it seems most of these issues have been resolved. 0.7 looks to be pretty close to feature parity with TortoiseSVN. The installation process has been simplified and streamlined, and overall the app seems to work quite well. I'm using on Leopard, fwiw. (Version 0.7)

MACUPDATE ADMIN How is it great? You should post reasons why you rated it with stars, otherwise the review is not informative and useful. (Version 0.6)

ANONYMOUS SCPlugin falls short of being complete. It is buggy, lacks essential features (usable log, builtin visual diff, locking, renaming, deleting, repository browser etc.). The icon overlays are flakey and work about 50% of the time. The development of this plugin has essentially ceased and thus not kept up with the latest versions of subversion. If your really want to use subversion the way God intended, use tortoiseSVN, it is an amazing tool and makes SCplugin look like a childs toy. I really need a good Mac Subversion client that matches the excellence of TortoiseSVN. SCPlugin has begun the process, but it is only about 10% complete. What will it take to inspire Mac developers to pony up and build a man's Subversion client. (Version 269)

OXOLYT Why do I have to install this unnecessarily in as administrator, i.e. in /Library, when I just want to have it installed as a user? Please developers, avoid the crappy, unflexible Apple Installer at all cost, thank you. (Version 269)
